Installing Nagios XI on Cloud Servers

Nagios XI can be installed on several popular hosting platforms using existing Linux emulation and virtual machine software that is compatible with both Nagios XI supported Linux distributions and the host platforms.

Creating a Cloud VM

Before beginning, ensure that the cloud machine you create meets the system requirements for Nagios XI, and that it is running a compatible OS and version.

Microsoft Azure

You can create an Azure Virtual Machine to host your Nagios XI instance. Please see the following resources:

After you have created and configured your Azure Virtual Machine, install Nagios XI using the instructions for the appropriate Linux distribution.

AWS

Amazon Web Services provides the ability to create a Linux virtual machine from scratch and install Nagios XI.

Installing Nagios XI

After you have created and configured your Virtual Machine, follow the Nagios XI manual install instructions for your chosen Linux distribution.
