5. Configuring Alerts in Nagios Log Server

Nagios Log Server has the ability to trigger an alert based on queries you've created. Alerts use the standard Nagios thresholds to determine if an alert is triggered. Sending an email is the most common notification method, but NLS can also send notifications upstream to a Nagios XI system, execute a script, or send a SNMP trap.
