How to Use the Network Switch and Router (Legacy) Wizard in Nagios XI
Nagios XI includes a Network Switch/Router (Legacy) Configuration Wizard that enables you to easily scan your network device for interfaces and quickly configure monitoring of port bandwidth and port status.
Important Note: checks created using this wizard are not compatible with Nagios Mod Gearman
(NMG), so must be run directly by Nagios XI. If you are using NMG, your distribution settings must ensure the checks are run locally. You can review the guide for more information on NMG Server and Worker distribution settings: Managing NMG in the Nagios XI UI.
Alternately, the updated Switch and Router Wizard can be used to create checks compatible with
