Prerequisite
- Access to a Windows 10 machine

Step 1: Install SNMP on Windows 10
- Open Settings on your Windows machine.

- Navigate to Optional Features.

- Click “+” icon and search for “snmp”, then select both check boxes.

- Click Add and wait for the installation to complete.
- Verify the installation by searching for SNMP under the Added Features section.

Step 2: Configure SNMP
- Open Services by typing it into the Windows search bar.

- Scroll down to SNMP Service, right-click, and select Properties.

- Under the General tab, set the Startup Type to Automatic.

- Navigate to the Agent tab and select the services you want SNMP to monitor.

- Select UDP and enter 161-162 in the Specific local ports textbox.

- Open Nagios XI in your browser.
- Hover over the gear icon and select Configuration Wizards.

- Search for SNMP.
