This video tutorial demonstrates Nagios XI views, what they are used for, and how they can be managed. Views are designed to provide individual users with quick access to Nagios XI pages and external websites they find useful.
By default the Nagios XI virtual machine is set to obtain an IP address via DHCP. If you need to use a static IP, or change the DNS name for the machine, you'll need to run a special configuration tool.
If you'd like to run the Nagios XI virtual machine under VMware ESX, you'll need to convert the machine image. This quick video tutorial takes you through the necessary steps to get up and running.
